The OMCA Natural Sciences Department presents the workings of the natural world and the interaction of people with the environment. With exhibitions, programs and collections, we present universal concepts using California examples. The permanent exhibits present California habitats, communities and organisms in a manner illustrative of their adaptations, interactions and other ecological principles. We do this in a manner fostering scientific and museum literacy and the simple joy of discovery.
